Question : Colleges and Research Centres under AYUSH

Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:

(a) the details of the colleges and research centres which have been inaugurated under the AYUSH Ministry;

(b) the steps taken by the Government to promote research and development in Ayurveda;

(c) the amount spent on establishing such research centres; and

(d) the total amount of the budget allocation utilised in this regard?

(b): The Ministry of AYUSH has established Central Council for Research in Ayurveda Sciences (CCRAS) which is an apex organization for developing and promoting research in Ayurvedic system of medicine. The National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) have been established for the Ministry of AYUSH for Promotion, Research, Development and the Health Service delivery to the public.
