(a) whether the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs have cleared the
construction of second rail bridge across the river Ganga near Patna;
(b) if so, the amount likely to be incurred thereon; and
(c) the time by which the construction of said bridge is likely to be started and
completed?

(a): Yes, Sir.
(b): About Rs. 650 cr.
(c): Preliminary arrangements like detailed planning, preparation of tender documents,
processing of land acquisition has been taken up. The work would be taken up
once the land is handed over by the State Government. The completion of the
bridge will depend upon availability of resources in the coming years.
