(a) whether the Government has formulated any plan to set up some new T.V. Centres and also to increase the capacity of some existing T.V. Centres;

(a), (b) & (c) : Yes, Sir. State-wise details in respect of the new TV centre projects and augmentation of the existing TV Centres are given at the Annexure.
(d) : Progress of the projects is generally satisfactory.

1. Studio, Gorakhpur Technical area of building completed. Departmental (pmt set up) works taken up. Target date : 2006-07.
2. Studio, Derhadun Land taken over. Building plan finalized. Preliminary (pmt set up) estimate for building works under process of sanction. Target date: 2008-09.
3. Studio, Leh Work of building construction awarded. Target date: (pmt set up) 2008-09.
4. Studio, Chandigarh Building plan finalized. Preliminary estimate for (addl. Studio) building works under process of sanction. Target date : 2008-09.
5. Studio, Panaji Building plan finalized. Preliminary estimate for (addl. Studio) building works sanctioned. Target date : 2008-09.
