(b) the details of the amount of fund spent by the Government in Maharashtra and Rajasthan during the last five years, district-wise;
(c) whether the Government has observed any lack of adequate usage of the funds divulged for the welfare and development projects; and
(d) if so, the actions taken thereon?

(c): It has been observed that Government of Maharashtra had not been able to utilize funds released to them during 2019-20 under the scheme of Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub-Scheme SCA to TSS) and Grants under Article 275(1) of the Constitution, which led to less / non-release of approved funds to the State during 2020-21 as well, as shown below:

(d): The matter was taken up at highest level and a communication dated 02.07.2020 from Minister of Tribal Affairs to Minister, Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra was addressed. The Government of Maharashtra has responded in affirmative for utilization of released funds.
