(a) To achieve the objective of “Housing for All”, in rural areas of the country, the erstwhile rural housing scheme Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY) has been restructured into Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana- Gramin (PMAY-G) w.e.f. 1st April, 2016. The scheme aims to provide pucca house with basic amenities to all houseless households living in kutcha and dilapidated house in rural areas. The details of rural pucca houses constructed in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra during the last three years (financial years 2017-18 to 2019-20) are as under:

(b) & (c) Yes Sir. The fund sharing pattern under PMAY-G between Central and State Government is in the ratio of 60:40 except in case of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir, North-Eastern States and Hilly States, wherein the sharing pattern is 90:10. In respect of UTs (including Ladakh), the PMAY-G is fully funded by the Central Government.
