MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS AND PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS (SHRI O. RAJAGOPAL)

(a) to (c): At present three computerised reservation counters are functioning in two shifts at Siwan railway station. A demand was received regarding opening of additional reservation counters at this station. The matter was examined and it was found that the daily number of requisitions handled per counter per shift is 111. For this level of traffic, the existing number of reservation counters is considered adequate.
