Question : ENDANGERED SPECIES

(a) whether as per the latest data released by the Zoological Survey of India the number of endangered species has doubled in just the last two years;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) the reasons for the two fold increase in the number of endangered species in the country; and

(d) the names of such species along with the areas/ regions of their habitation?
