Question : RETRENCHMENT OF WORKERS IN TPP IN ORISSA

(a) whether the Government are aware of the large scale retrenchment of workers from some thermal power plants in Orissa and particularly from IB Thermal Power Plant;

(b) if so, the reasons therefor; and

(c) the steps taken to provide them alternative employment?
