(a) whether the Government proposes to make use of big data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to predict and avoid data breaches and cyber attacks;
(b) if so, the details thereof including timeframe of its implementation;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the steps taken by the Government to uphold data security in civil aviation industry

(a) to (d) Ministry of Civil Aviation''s information technology system, including but not limited to, enterprise software, database, networking and data security systems are all based on National Informatics Centre (NIC) platform. Various security advisories, updates, alerts viz. cyber threats/vulnerabilities and counter measures to protect computers, network, browsers , operating systems, data bases and various other platforms received from National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC) and Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) are released to concerned entities from time to time for necessary action.
