(a) whether some State Governments including Andhra Pradesh have sent proposals to develop coastal areas of the States as beach corridors;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the status of the proposals, State/UT-wise;
(c) whether the Government has sanctioned funds to develop beach corridor between Visakhapatnam and Bhimunipatnam in Andhra Pradesh; and
(d) if so, the details thereof along with the details of work completed in this regard?

(a) to (d): For Integrated Development of Theme-Based Tourist Circuits in the country, the Ministry of Tourism has launched Swadesh Darshan Scheme in 2014-15. Under the scheme, thirteen thematic circuits have been identified for development including Coastal Circuit.
