Question : Funds Released for AYUSH

Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:

(a) the details of the funds released to Darbhanga in Bihar and Sonepat in Haryana under various schemes of this ministry;

(b) whether the funds released under the said schemes have been utilized under the respective schemes, if so, the details of the schemes under which the work has been completed or is near completion; and

(c) whether works have not been completed, if so, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c):The status of fund approved and the progress of work in Sonepat District in Haryana under Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National AYUSH Mission (NAM) is furnished at Annexure. Further, under NAM, in the State of Bihar Ministry of AYUSH has sanctioned Rs. 22.71 Crore for supply of essential drug in 1384 AYUSH Dispensaries/Additional Primary Health Centres including the facilities of Darbhanga District. However State Government has not reported the expenditure of this amount. Further, no fund has been approved under the said scheme for the purpose of civil works in Darbhanga District.
