(a) to (c): Defence Acquisition is a complex decision making process that endeavours to balance the competing requirements
of expeditious procurement, operational necessities, development of an indigenous defence industry and conformity to the
highest standards of transparency, probity and public accountability.
Defence procurements are made through competitive biddings and after exhaustive Trials, in accordance with the provisions
of the Defence Procurement Procedure (DPP). Complaints regarding irregularities are examined as per procedure and
appropriate action taken.
