(a) whether the Government has allocated any funds for
renovation and repair of Vizag airport in the last three years ;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the steps taken/proposed to be taken to complete the
said work in time?

(a) Yes, Sir.
(b) & (c) An expenditure of Rs.57.44 crores, Rs.43.06 crores and Rs.56.81 crores has
been incurred during the years 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07 respectively on renovation
and capital works.
(d) With intense monitoring and supervision as well as adequate budget allocation, it
is being insured that the airport works get completed as per schedule.
