(a) the present status of the four works i.e. construction of Samaj Sadan at Sector-II, DIZ Area, Construction of 48 Nos. Type V quarters at Market Square DIZ Area, Development of plot of land measuring 6.00 acre in Udyan Marg, near P&T colony in DIZ area and construction of additional room in Type C Quarters in Sector IV, DIZ area, New Delhi; and
(b) the time by which the works are likely to be started and completed and the amount allocated or spent in this regard?

(a)&(b): The present status of the four works in Gole Market is
as under:-
I) Construction of Samaj Sadan at Sector-II, DIZ Area has
been dropped in view of the instructions dated 15.12.2004
from Department of Personnel and Training not to pursue
the new construction of Samaj Sadans including proposals
where administrative sanction has been issued but
construction work has not been taken up.
II) The plot of land at Market Square, DIZ Area earmarked for
construction of 48 Nos. Type V Quarters has been allotted
to DMRC and hence the proposal has been dropped.
III) The plot of land measuring 6.00 acre in Udyan Marg, near
P&T colony in DIZ area is in possession of P&T/BSNL.
IV) Construction of additional room in Type C Quarters in
Sector IV, DIZ area, New Delhi is in progress and
scheduled for completion by December, 2005. Rs.123.80
lakhs have already been spent so far against the
sanctioned amount of Rs.357.47 lakhs.
