Question : MINI TOOL ROOMS IN MADHYA PRADESH



(a) whether the Government of Madhya Pradesh has sent two mini tool room schemes of district Jabalpur and Gwalior with a total estimated cost of Rs. 730 lakh to the Government in September and October 1999 respectively for approval;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the action taken by the Union Government in this regard?

(a): Yes, Sir.

(b): The tentative project cost of the Mini Tool Room proposed at Jabalpur was Rs. 358 lakh and for Mini Tool Room at Gwalior Rs. 354 lakh.

(c): The scheme on Mini Tool Rooms was approved and notified only on 01.03.2001. The State Government was accordingly requested on 08.03.2001 to send fresh proposals as per the guidelines of the scheme. No proposal has been received since then.
