(b): During the current financial year State governmsnt of A.P- has submitted two proposals under this scheme for approxirnatly Rs.3 lakhs, and for Rs.333 lakhs for a special scheme under Jaiuna Bhumi Piogra-`i`TTtS. A sum of Rs. 2 lakha has been sanctioned to the Stats Government under the first proposal for Rs.3 lakhs. The proposal for sanction of Rs-333 lakha under the Janma Bhumi Programme could not be favourably considered since it is deficient in certain essential aspects, and also due to budgetary constraints.
