Question : Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana

(a) whether agriculture activities are being done under Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) in the country particularly in the Parliamentary Constituencies of Shahjahanpur and Misrikh in Uttar Pradesh;

(b) if so, the status thereof as on date particularly in Shahjahanpur and Mishrikh Parliamentary Constituencies of Uttar Pradesh; and

(c) the details of the central funds allocated during the last three years along with the utilization of the same and number of the beneficiaries, State-wise as on date?

(a) & (c): Government has been promoting organic farming through dedicated scheme of Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) since 2015-16 which is implemented through State Government including State Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP) in cluster mode, in which, farmers are provided financial assistance of Rs 50000/ha for 3 years in which, Rs 31000/ ha / 3 years is provided directly to farmers through DBT for organic inputs such as seeds, bio fertilisers, bio-pesticides, organic manure, compost/vermi-compost, botanical extracts etc.

PKVY scheme has been implemented in 41 districts of Uttar Pradesh in 1160 clusters covering 23200 hectare and 55483 farmers has been benefited under the scheme. The details of districts covered are Jhansi, Jalaun, Lalitpur, Hamirpur, Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba, Mirzapur, Gorakhpur, Kanpur Dehat, Farrukhabad, RaeBareli, Pilibhit, Deoria, Agra, Mathura, Fatehpur, Kaushambi, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Balrampur, Faizabad, Barabanki,
Sonbhadra, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Kannauj, Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Bhadohi, Bijnor, Kanpur Nagar, Firozabad, Amroha and Chandoli.

The State-wise details of fund allocated during last three year along with the utilization and number of beneficiaries in PKVY scheme is given at Annexure-I and ll.
