(a) Main objective of National eVidhan Application (NeVA) project developed on the theme of ‘One Nation One Application’ is to transform all Legislatures across India into ‘DIGITAL HOUSES’ to enable them to transact entire Government Business on digital platform in paperless mode.

NeVA could be accessed through website as well as mobile App both in iOS & Android platform. As a Member centric application, NeVA addresses all issues of day to day functioning of a House. Inside the House NeVA supports a digital eBook accessible through member’s login with facilities like e-Laying, e-Voting and e-Attendance.

Thirteen States have signed Memorandum of Understanding with Government of India for implementation of NeVA in their Legislatures and first instalment of central assistance has also been released to five States so far.

(b) & (c) NeVA renders end-to-end e-governance solution by automating the existing physical processes involved in the working of the House(s). No personal data is being collected/ stored or processed through the Application. However, in compliance with the Government’s legal regime for data protection, various security measures have been incorporated in the system.
