(a) whether the prices of houses and construction material are increasingly getting out of the reach of low/middle income group; and
(b) if so, the details thereof and the steps taken by the Government to provide housing to common people at affordable prices?

(a):Prices of housing and construction material are market driven and are based on demand and supply.
(b):Central Government assist State Governments in providing affordable housing to common people through its schemes. Central Government is in the process for launching a mission for “Housing for All” towards that purpose.
