(a): Yes, Sir.
(b): Honey being a primary food, the KVIC have prepared and circulated a booklet on `Honey as most nutritious food`. Trials have been conducted for use of honey in various other forms.
(c): Yes, Sir.
(d): Ayurvedic system recommends use of honey with other medicines for effective treatment without any side effect. Medicinal preparations include cough and throat syrups, tonics, eye drops, ointments for burns and wounds. Honey is also used in cosmetics such as body lotions, face creams, moisturizers, shampooes, soaps, for its anti-wrinkles and anti-bacterial properties.
