Question : UNIVERSAL IMMUNISATION TARGET



(a) the present status of Universal Immunisation target set by the Government, State/UT-wise;

(b) whether the Government proposes to link and track immunisation history of children to the Aadhaar cards, in order to improve immunisation coverage among migratory population;

(c) if so, the details thereof indicating the modalities worked out in this regard; and

(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): The present status of Universal Immunisation target set by the Government, State/UT-wise is given in Annexure.
(b): No. The Government does not propose to link and track immunisation history of children to the Aadhaar cards, in order to improve immunisation coverage among mig- ratory population.

(c): Question does not arise.

(d): The immunization sessions are taken as an opportunity to vaccinate all the children. Government of India has placed a name based tracking system - Mother Child Tracking System (MCTS) whereby children can be tracked for immunization. There is also a feedback system for the ANM and ASHA to ensure that children receive their full immunization. In addition, pulse polio lesson learning’s are used to vaccinate mobile and migrant population.
