(a) India has signed bilateral agreements with the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Switzerland, Japan and the United States of America for removal of quantitative restrictions on imports maintained by India on Balance of Payments grounds.
(b) There has been no perceptible impact of the removal of quantitative restrictions on imports on goods manufactured in India and on our agricultural products.
