(a) whether the Union Government proposes to introduce New Pension Scheme for retired employees of defence sector;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the time by which it is likely to be implemented;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor;
(d) whether old pension scheme has been discontinued and if so, the reasons and the grounds therefor; and
(e) the reason as to why Government pension scheme has been discontinued when private sectors and banks have introduced life pension scheme for semi-Government employees by contributing some amount by making saving?
