(a) the salient features of New Pricing Scheme (NPS) for urea sector;
(b) whether the NPS for urea sector has been designed to address all the issues affecting agricultural sector and farmers such as lower production, dependency on imports, shortage in supply etc and if so, the details thereof;
(c) the present status of NPS;
(d) whether the Government has received comments from various Ministries like Finance, Agriculture, Petroleum and Natural Gas and Commerce and Industry etc. with regard to NPS for urea sector; and
(e) if so, the details thereof and the time by which NPS is likely to be implemented?
