(a) the number of irrigation projects of Madhya Pradesh pending with the Union Government alongwith the period, name of each of these projects and their estimated cost;
(b) the amount spent by Madhya Pradesh Government on each of these projects; and
(c) the time by which the projects are likely to be cleared by the Union Government for irrigation in the State alongwith the names of the projects?

(a) & (c) No proposal from Madhya Pradesh is pending in the Ministry for environmental clearance under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
The details of the 7 proposals (received from Madhya Pradesh in the last five years), which are pending for forest clearance under the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 is annexed.
(b) The Ministry of Environment & Forests does not monitor the amount spent on the projects/proposals, which are received for clearances. It monitors the compliance of conditions laid out in the forest and/or environmental clearances only.
