(a) the total quantity of gold and diamond produced in the country during each of the
last three years till date, State-wise;
(b) whether the Government is making any efforts to ban import of gold and diamonds and
propose to increase their production by exploring abundant gold and diamond reserves available
in various parts of the country;
(c) if so, the action taken by the Government in this regard; and
(d) the time by when import of gold and diamond is likely to be banned?
