(a) whether the Government has any proposal regarding construction of National Highway No. 58 E in Rajasthan; and
(b) if so, the decision taken by the Government on the said proposal and the time by which the said road is likely to be constructed along with details thereof?

(a) and (b) The National Highway No. 58-E starts from Kundal, near Udaipur City at Junction with NH-8 and ends at Idar in Gujarat. The total length of NH 58-E in the State of Rajasthan is about 91 Km. Ministry has taken initiative to upgrade this stretch of NH-58E in Rajasthan and work of up gradation to 2 lane with paved shoulder from Km 0/00 to 91/00 (Kundal –Ambavelly section) amounting to Rs. 712.10 crore has been sanctioned by the Ministry in two packages.
