(a) whether the Government proposes to make Sanskrit as link language and official language alongwith Hindi;

STATEMENT IN REPLY TO LOK SABHA STARRED QUESTION NO. *293 FOR ANSWER ON 16.03.2021 REGARDING “SANSKRIT AS OFFICIAL LANGUAGE”

(a) No Sir, Government does not propose to make Sanskrit as link language and official language. As per Article 343, the Official Language of the Union is Hindi in Devnagari script.
(b) No Sir.
(c) Does Not Arise.
