Question : Facilities at Toll Plazas

(a) whether the Government is undertaking a project to improve the water and light facilities at toll plazas on the National Highways;

(b) if so, the details of the progress made in the improvement of the facilities at toll plazas;

(c) whether separate toilets for men and women are instituted at the toll plazas; and

(d) if so, the details of the new toilet facilities instituted in 2016 at the toll plazas?

(a) & (b) No, Madam. However, light and drinking water facilities are provided at Toll Plazas and hoardings have been installed prior to Toll Plaza indicating the facilities available.

(c) Yes, Madam.

(d) The details of the new toilet facilities instituted in 2016 at the Toll Plazas is enclosed at Annexure-A.
