Question : Setting up of Central ToolRoom-cum-Training Centres

(a) whether the Government has any proposal to set up some central tool room-cum-training centres in the country;

(b) if so, the places identified for the purpose, State-wise;

(c) whether one such central tool room-cum-training centre is proposed to be set up in Rourkela; and

(d) if so, the details thereof and the steps taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) to (d): 23 Technology Extension Centers have been sanctioned for being set up at locations indicated in the Annexure.
