(a) whether any projects from the Government of Rajasthan about rain water harvesting are pending with the Union Government for sanction and budget provisions and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the Union Government intends to sanction the said projects as well as to make budget provisions for them and if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b) Government of Rajasthan has submitted a proposal for sustainable management of ground water which, inter-alia, includes rain water harvesting. It is envisaged to be considered under National Groundwater Management Improvement Scheme (NGMIS) of this Ministry.
(c) In view of reply to parts (a) and (b) above, question does not arise.
