(a) whether the Government propose to launch any special scheme to provide vocational training to women and girls and to provide them loans to enable them to set up their own industry/opt for self employment;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which it is likely to be done?

(a),(b)&(c): Under Prime Minister`s Rojger Yojana (PMRY), a Centrally
Sponsored Subsidy Linked Scheme for providing self employment to the
educated unemployed youth for setting up micro enterprises in business,
industry and service, training is provided to selected beneficiaries for setting up ventures chosen by them. The scheme gives preference to women.
Loans are also provided by the public sector banks under their own
schemes, besides the Govt. sponsored schemes for financing women.
