(a) whether the Government is considering giving out subsidy for lease/ purchase of electric buses to Karnataka under FAME-II scheme;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the details of the guidelines/ policy for issuing subsidy for electric vehicles; and
(d) the quantum of amount of subsidy being given for each vehicle?

(a) and (b) There is no such proposal under consideration of the Department of Heavy Industry for giving lease/purchase of electric buses to Karnataka under FAME-II Scheme.
(c) and (d) The Department of Heavy Industry has notified Phase-II of the scheme vide S.O. 1300 dated 8th March 2019, with the approval of Cabinet with an outlay of Rs. 10,000 crore for a period of three years commencing from 1st April, 2019. The notification of the scheme and operational guidelines are available on the Department of Heavy Industry’s website [www.dhi.nic.in].
