(a) whether any Committee has been constituted by the Government to look into the causes of sky-rocketing prices of seeds of hybrid paddy and examine the quality of paddy seeds in Chhattisgarh;
(b) if so, the number of cases that have come to the light so far; and
(c) the action taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) to (c): The Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare has not constituted any Committee to look into the causes of sky-rocketing prices of seeds of hybrid paddy and examine the quality of paddy seeds in Chhattisgarh. However, the facility for testing the quality of hybrid paddy seeds is available at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur.
