Question : PROVISION OF MOBILE PHONES

(a) whether the Government has any plan to provide mobiles to farmers for Rs. 500 so that they can find out better price for their product;

(b) if so, whether any consulations in this regard have been held with the Agriculture Ministry and Labour Ministry; and

(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (c) Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF) does not have any plan to provide mobiles to farmers.
