(a): The total coastline of India is 7,516 km. Out of which the Peninsular India contributes 5,423 kms. while the remaining 2,093
kms. are contributed by the Island groups of India. The details of the approximate length of National Highways (NHs) along the
coastline State/Union Territory-wise are as under:
