Question : RELAXATION OF VISA RULES BY CHINA

(a) whether China has relaxed Visa rules for people going there for business, study and tours; and

(b) if so, the details thereof?

(a)-(b) India and China signed a “Memorandum of Understanding on Simplifying Visa Procedures” on June 23, 2003, which has simplified the procedures for issuing visas, especially for the purpose of business, employment, tourism and education, to each other’s citizens in order to facilitate the development of trade and economic cooperation and strengthen people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
