(a): The details of hybrid seeds produced in the country over four years as reported by States/Seed producing agencies is at Annexure.

(b): No, Madam.

(c): Question does not arise.

(d): National Agricultural Research System i.e. Indian Council of Agricultural Research and State Agriculture Universities has been established for research and development. Assistance is also provided for research and development to various agencies under programmes such as National Food Security Mission (NFSM), Integrated Scheme of Oilseeds, Pulses, Oil Palm and Maize (ISOPOM), Technology Mission on Cotton (TMC), Technology Mission on Jute & Mesta (TMJM), Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) and National Horticulture Mission (NHM).
