(a) and (b) The Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries in the Ministry
of Agriculture, Government of India has not signed any agreement withany foreign
country or private organization for development of Dairy Sector in the country.
However, The Department of Agriculture and Cooperation has signed umbrella MOUs/
agreements with the following countries viz., Argentina, Austria, Australia,
Mongolia, Zambia, Syria, Bhutan, China, Israel, Mongolia, Nepal, Oman, Philippines,
Yemen, Sudan, Hungary Malawi, Brazil and Canada. The umbrella MOUs/agreements,
inter alia, include the field of Dairy Development amongst other areas of
cooperation in the country.
