(a) No, Sir.
(b)&(c) The explosion did not take place in a nuclear power plant. It occurred in an oven dedicated
to melt low and very low radioactive metallic waste at a nuclear waste management facility located in
Codolet near Marcoule (Grad, South-East of France). The radioactivity was contained inside the building
and there was no contamination. The incident has no bearing on the safety of nuclear power plants.
