(a) whether there is any independent evaluation conducted on National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT);
(b) If so, the details thereof and the steps taken by the Government to create capable Human Resource for neo-cooperative movement in the country;
(c) whether financial audits are conducted on NCCT activities; and
(d) if so, the details thereof including the audit paras still pending for action?

(a) and (b) Yes, Sir. An independent third party evaluation was conducted for National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) through NABARD Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd (NABCONS), New Delhi during the 12th Five Year Plan. The Government has continuously been making efforts towards capacity building in cooperative sector by conducting regular programmes for education and training through 20 NCCT institutes viz. [Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM), Institute of Regional Cooperative Management (IRCMs) (5) and Institute of Cooperative Management (ICMs) (14)].
(c) & (d) Yes Sir, financial audits viz. Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), statutory, internal and other audits are conducted periodically on various activities of NCCT. Action on the audit paras is taken as per the stipulated norms.
