(a) and (b): The Government has not received any representation from any State Government including Andhra Pradesh requesting for establishment of Haj House. However, Nida-E-Haj Service Society, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh had sent a representation. In addition to that Haj Committee of India received proposals from Karnataka State Haj Committee, UP State Haj Committee and Maharashtra State Haj Committee for establishment of Haj House at Manglore, Ghaziabad and Aurangabad respectively.
(c) :Financial assistance for construction of Haj House is provided by Haj Committee of India. The response of the Haj Committee of India towards proposals received from State Haj Committees are furnished as attachement :-
