(a) whether the Railways are still appointing Telephone Attendants cum Dak Khalasis (TA/DK) or Bungalow Peons despite the recommendations made by the Sixth Pay Commission for abolishing the said posts;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the complaints of exploitation of TA/DK at the houses of some officials of Railways have been reported; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the steps taken/being taken by the Railways in this regard?
