(a): As on date enemy shares of 302 companies and 12426 immovable enemy properties are vested in the Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI). The details of vested immovable properties are given in Annexure-I. The value of the enemy properties has been estimated at about Rupees One Lakh Crore.
(b) & (c): The Government of India has laid down detailed procedure for sale of enemy shares vide Order dated 18.02.2019. Further, the Government vide Orders dated 21.03.2018, 08.03.2019 and 22.01.2020 laid down the detailed procedures for disposal of immovable enemy properties vested in the Custodian of Enemy

Property for India (CEPI). The details are given in Annexure-II. Several Committees including the Alternative Mechanism consisting of Home Minister, Finance Minister and Minister of Road Transport and Highways have been set up by the aforesaid orders.
(d): Vesting of an enemy property is an ongoing process as new properties are taken up for vesting after their identification and the properties so vested are taken up for disposal thereafter. The disposal is subject to market processes and judicial interventions. Therefore, no time limit has been fixed for disposal of enemy properties.
