Question : Financial Assistance to Functionarie

Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:

(a) whether the provisions made for financial assistance for limited mobility support to the State and District functionaries for conducting essential monitoring activities in order to upgrade AYUSH dispensaries under the Government has been implemented;

(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor;

(c) whether the financial assistance of Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum at State level and Rs. 1.20 lakh per annum for district level has been increased since being proposed under this plan; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): Yes, Under Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National AYUSH Mission (NAM), provision has been made for financial assistance for limited mobility support to the State and District functionaries for conducting essential monitoring activities.
(c) & (d): The financial assistance for mobility support which is Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum at State level and Rs. 1.20 lakh per annum for district level has not been increased.
