(a) whether the Government has any proposal to boost the international competitiveness among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether the Government has taken any effective measures to make MSMEs aware of global trends and practices along with standards in export financing; and

(a)to(c): The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises implements various schemes and programmes to boost international competitiveness in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Sector throughout the country. These include the schemes/programmes such as Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI), A Scheme for Promoting Innovation, Rural Industry and Entrepreneurship (ASPIRE), Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGTMSE), Credit linked Capital Subsidy-Technology Upgradation Scheme (CLCS-TUS), National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme (NMCP), Micro & Small Enterprises- Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP), National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH), Procurement and Marketing Schemes (PMS) etc. The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) under the Ministry of MSME also boosts and supports Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Sector by providing integrated support services encompassing marketing, finance, technology and other services.
