(a) whether the Union Governmentproposes to provide 50 per
cent of thepower generated from power projects ofthe National
Thermal PowerProjects tothe home State;

(a) to (c): The Government of India has approved
allocation of 50% of power to the `Home` States from the
14 upcoming power projects of NTPC Limited, and from all
new projects of Nuclear Power Corporation of India
Limited. Orders of this Ministry dated 17th January, 2011
are as at Annex.
Ministry of Power has also agreed for 50% of
allocation of Power to Bihar from Stage-II of NTPC`s Barh
Super Thermal Power Station (1320 MW).
