(a) : The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India has provided support to State Forest Departments for establishing 105 Medicinal Plants Conservation and Development Areas (MPCDAs) in different states of the country. The State / UT-wise detail is at Annexure – I.
(b) : The NMPB, Ministry of Ayush has so far sanctioned Rs.6415.90 Lakhs out of which amount of Rs.4722.98 Lakhs has been released and spent / utilized Rs.3284.70 Lakhs for establishing the Medicinal Plants Conservation and Development Areas.
