Question : Investment in PMKSY

(a) the details of the total level of investment made during the last three years under Pradhan
Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojna (PMKSY), State-wise;

(b) whether there is an increase in average farmer’s income in the last two financial years due to the implementation of PMKSY, State-wise;

(c) if so, the details thereof, State-wise

(d) the details of Agro Processing Clusters which have been established, State-wise; and

(e) whether there is direct and indirect employment generation in PMKSY and if so, the details thereof, State-wise?

(a): 310 projects with total project cost of Rs. 6275.70 crore with grant-in-aid of Rs. 1891.14 crore has been approved by the Ministry during last three financial years of 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 under various sub-schemes of PMKSY. This entails private investment leverage of Rs. 4384.56 crore. State-wise details of these 310 projects are at Annexure-I.

(b) & (c): Establishment of food processing facilities lead to apparent reduction in loss, risk avoidance, assured market and increase in farm gate price, including increase in the annual income of farmers.

(d): The details of 68 projects under the sub-scheme "Creation of Infrastructure for Agro Processing Clusters (APC)" under PMKSY approved so far by the Ministry, is given in Annexure-II.

(e): The employment generation from these 310 projects approved by the Ministry during the last three years is 3,58,984 persons as per details at Annexure-I.
