(a) whether the Confederation of Indian Industry met 14th Finance Commission and discussed the need of various strategic initiatives for the development of the States including Andhra Pradesh; and
(b) if so, the details thereof and the action taken in this regard?

(a) &(b): During the course of discussion with Government of Andhra Pradesh, Fourteenth Finance Commission also held a meeting with the representatives of Trade & Industry including Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Andhra Pradesh. CII, Andhra Pradesh, inter-alia, suggested for fund allocation on value added zones, industrial corridors, rural industrialization; Unified Goods & Services Tax, Law and formation of State Loan Council. The representation given by the CII, Andhra Pradesh was considered by the Fourteenth Finance Commission in its Deliberations.
